BANGKOK, Thailand – Initial talks between the Acting President of Kasetsart University (KU) and officials of the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) focused on how the two institutions will help poor Southeast Asian farmers by combining KU's Knowledge of the Land Program anchored on the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) and SEARCA's approach to promoting inclusive and sustainable agricultural and rural development (ISARD). BANGKOK, Thailand – The joint thematic initiative of the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) and the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) on mainstreaming agrobiodiversity resulted in the conduct of the Multi-sectoral Workshop on Mainstreaming Biodiversity in Food and Agriculture in Bangkok, Thailand on 4-6 December 2018.
