THE Philippine government-hosted Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) has organized a three-day training workshop on vegetable production at Salvacion National High School, Busuanga town in Palawan province. The training workshop, through the School-plus-Home Gardens Project, is in line with the project's commitment to build the capacities of agricultural extension workers in local government units (LGUs) and educators from Busuanga and Coron in providing technical assistance on crop production and improving soil productivity in the school gardening activities of target schools. The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) and Manila-based Synergygroup Operations, Inc. (SGOI) have teamed up to implement the School Edible Landscaping for Entrepreneurship (SEL4E) Project in Rizal Province. They formalized their partnership in a signing ceremony held on 1 July 2022 at SEARCA in Los Baños, Laguna. LOS BAÑOS, Laguna: An intergovernmental treaty organization hosted by the Philippines and a company that provides an end-to-end maritime solution with tailored services have forged a partnership to implement the School Edible Landscaping for Entrepreneurship (SEL4E) Project in Rizal province. The University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB)-based Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) said it has 15 grantees of its Seed Fund for Research and Training (SFRT) program.
