Following the series of KM Audit at PCC Main Headquarters in Nueva Ecija and the PCC stations at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) and Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), the SEARCA Project Team through the Project Development and Technical Services (PDTS) Unit conducted a similar activity at Ubay Stock Farm in Bohol, on 26 November 2015. In attendance were the PCC Director, Dr. Caro Salces, three regional coordinators and eight other regular staff. The KM Audit facilitated by Ms. Nancy Landicho, PDTS Program Specialist, focused on the areas of operation of the center. All participants gave their narratives on the common problems that they encountered – in both technical and administrative aspects, and expressed their capacity building needs. Particularly, the discussion revolved around the center’s need of laboratory equipment, and research and training related to biotechnology. Moreover, each participant accomplished the KM assessment survey, which will be used in formulating the PCC KM strategy and program. The project team was also given a tour on the operations facility of the center.
Dr. Lope B. Santos III, PDTS OIC and Program Specialist and Ms. Sarah Quiñones, PDTS Project Associate were also present in the activity. The results of the KM Audit will be presented to the PCC Executive Committee during the Programming Exercise to be held in January 2016 at the PCC Main Headquarters. (Sarah Grace L. Quiñones)
