Mr. Jean-Jacques Forte, Cultural Counsellor, Ms. Sarah Mahe, Attaché for Science and Research Cooperation, and Ms. Marina Battesti, Attaché for Higher Education and Linguistic, all of the French Embassy in Manila, visited SEARCA on 29 October 2018.
They sought a meeting with SEARCA officials to discuss possible collaboration on research and development initiatives that include post-disaster training courses or seminars or other related preventive assistance and support for farmers and local communities.
The French officials were received by Ms. Adoracion T. Robles, Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Deputy Director for Administration, along with SEARCA Program Heads, Program Specialists, Technical Advisors, and Dr. Gil C. Saguiguit, Jr., former SEARCA Director, who has continued to support the Center as a Senior Fellow. (Leah Lyn D. Domingo)
